Fishery Rules:
We would like all of our guests to have a pleasurable experience when they visit Lac De Viennay, therefore we have put the following rules in place to protect the long term future of the fish and of the fishery. Failure to abide by these rules could result in the guest being asked to leave.
- A maximum of 3 rods to be used, no rods to be left un-attended at any time.
End tackle that allows the fish to free itself is compulsory, no fixed lead, tether or bent hook rigs allowed. Barbless hooks only.
Un-hooking mats must be used ( 1 per angler )
Each angler must have a landing net of at least 40inch.
The sacking or retaining of fish is not allowed in any circumstance.
Anglers must have in there possession a bottle of fish antiseptic to treat damaged areas of the fish and any hooking points.
The use of remote controlled bait boats is allowed, as long as the are used appropriately.
There is a small boat available for baiting swims etc, however a life jacket must be worn at all times.
No litter is to be left around the lake side, this includes cigarette buts, each peg has a standard bin.
No fires are allowed, barbecues are allowed but only on the barbecue area provided.
Bait can be purchased through us or you are welcome to bring your own, we recommend 10 kilo of boilies and 10 kilo of pellet, we may ask to check the preparation of your own baits.
Anglers are not to arrive on site before 13.00pm on the first day, and must depart before 11.00am on the last day.
