We have had a record number of visitors this year and are already planning some great improvements for Season 2012 when we will improve our hospitality facilities, please read below. We would like to thank all of those who visited Lac De Viennay in Season 2011 and look forward to seeing you again in 2012.
November 2011
Unfortunately three anglers were caught removing fish from Lac De Viennay in the first week of November, these anglers are now featured in the "Hall of Shame" on our Gallery page, it is our intention to pursue legal action against these culprits, who have now also been banned for life from the complex. We operate a zero tolerance policy against any theft or infringement of our Fishery Rules which have been put in place to allow all of our visitors to have a relaxing time of enjoyment at Lac De Viennay and we will not allow a minority of anglers to spoil the sport of our core and loyal visitors. All other local fisheries will be informed of the identities of the people involved to put a stop to this illegal activity.
November 2011
Planning permission has now been granted for the first of our Lodge buildings which will enable us to provide shower and rest facilities, The groundworks are now complete and we hope to have this open for season 2012 now that we also have mains electricity to the site.
September 2010
The Fishery record was broken with the capture of a 22 Kilogram Carp pictured top left in 2010, this record still stands and was not beaten in the 2011 season.
Lac de Viennay has also featured in the local press with two articles being written. One is featured via the link below.
We are now taking bookings for the new 2012 season.
